I have a 19’ Carolina Skiff moored on a main waterway a few lagoons from Barnegat Bay. The skiff a very light boat and gets tossed around at the dock, especially during a storm or on the weekends when boaters can’t wait to get out to the bay! The boat would hit the bulkhead on occasion even though it was 3 feet away on whips. I tried bigger whips, bow and stern lines with 2 spring lines, and at 1 point I had 6 lines on a 19’ boat! It was a constant job adjusting line and whip tensions if there was going to be a big tide swing or a storm. Bumpers had to be put out if there was a north/northeast wind to keep it off the dock.

My wife had knee replacement surgery 2 years ago and it became difficult for her to climb onto an unstable boat after I jumped on, released the whips and then held the skiff closer to the dock. While looking for a better way to tie the skiff up, I saw the SlideMoor system but didn’t understand the concept at all. Then while at a friends’ house, I saw his 50+ foot sportfisher tied up with just 2 lines on the SlideMoor! What really impressed me was how close to the dock the boat was and how easy it was to tie up. This would be a perfect solution for my wife’s knee issue.

I met with Pete from All About SlideMoor and committed to the project. Communication was excellent and the installation was done in a couple of hours. After a quick schooling on how to properly use the SlideMoor, I was all set. The first thing I noticed was there was NO rocking motion when getting on and off the boat. It was super stable at the dock and so much easier to get on and off since the boat is right up against the dock.

Wouldn’t you know a storm hit several weeks after the SlideMoor installation. The winds were over 50mph and there were whitecaps at the dock. I ran outside and put 2 more lines on the boat out of habit and kept a constant eye out to see if the skiff was still there! During the entire storm, the boat didn’t pitch up and down and side to side like it did in prior storms on the whips. The only movement of the boat was a mild up and down along the rails of the SlideMoor. It is also much easier to work on the boat with SlideMoor if someone comes by a little fast and creates a wake.

It has been 1 full season with the SlideMoor and my only regret is that I waited too long! Great product and great service!

Love this slide moor system!! I have a very busy schedule and never have to worry about wind or tides my boat stays put and slides up and down like a floating dock!! I can go away and never have to worry about my boat, unbelievable to be able to be worry free!! Peter answers his calls and texts in a timely manner and shows up on time Very friendly and professional service! This is a system that every boat owner must have!! 

The SlideMoor System is awesome and Pete was wonderful to work with! He performed the installation and recommended someone that would install the pilings at a fair price. I no longer worry whether or not my 33 foot Grady White Express Cruiser is secured to the dock! Great guy and great company, hats off to Pete!

We just bought a new house on the Barnegat Bay so this is my first season with my 30 foot boat on the bay. My boat was getting pounded into my dock.  I couldn’t seem to add enough bumpers to help.  I researched all options; mooring whips, a boat lift, drive on docking, inflatable docking etc.  I ultimately decided on the slidemoor system. 

I love the low profile of the system and how my boat sits tight against my dock. It doesn’t block my view or my neighbors view.  It’s doesn’t seem to move an inch.  It’s easy to board and unboard the boat.  It’s easy to dock and undock.  It’s great.  

Peter was wonderful to work with from beginning to end.  He even checked on the boat a few times after the installation was complete.  

I am so happy I went with the SlideMoor system.  I highly recommend Peter and slidemoor.

 My boat is on a very busy waterway, with a large marina down the way from me and a lot of summer boat traffic. We've also had plenty of flood tides, heavy winds and a few Nor'easters to deal with over the years. My SlideMoor system has kept my boat safe and secure. I recommend it highly!
